Result of the June 2009 Board Exam for Nurses

There are 32,617 new licensed nurses in the Philippinesas the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the list of successful examines of the licensure examination held last June 6 to 7. The result was released 46 days after the examination and this represents a passing rate of 41.87%. The test was conducted by the Board of Nursing last month and was held in the following cities: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Sulu, Pagadian and Zamboanga.

 

The topnotcher for this batch is Golda Manto Yap. The new nurse from Felipe R. Verallo Memorial Foundation got an average score of 86.80%. Forty nine more examinees made it to the Top 10 list.

 

The school with the best performance goes to Saint Paul University-Dumaguete for having a 100% passing rate as all of the 112 examinees from this institution passed the exam.

 

The oath-taking ceremony for the June 2009 board passers and for those who passed the exams in earlier date but are yet to take their oath will happen on August 18 and 19 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, and Pasay City
