37,527 Successful Examinees of the Nursing Board Exam

The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 37, 527 passed the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) on November 2009. This number represents a 39.72% passing rate meaning less than half of the 94, 462 nursing graduates who took the exam passed.

 

The examination was given by the Board of Nursing last November 2009 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao,Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Sulu, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.



The oath-taking ceremony for the new registered nurses and for previous passers who have not taken their Oath of Professional will take place on March 8 and 9, 2010, with morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

The PRC said that attendees are required to come in their white gala uniform, nurse's cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.
