Nurse From Iligan Tops The Board Exam

The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 37, 527 passed the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) on November 2009. This number represents a 39.72% passing rate meaning less than half of the 94, 462 nursing graduates who took the exam passed.

 

The nurse who got the highest rating out of this batch of new registered nurses comes from the province of Iligan. She is Ms. Clarie Morales Bontol of Iligan Medical Center College Inc. Her 87.80 percent score made her the topnotcher. It was close with the scores of the top 2 and 3 which are Bryan Noel Cueto Asis of Lyceum of Batangas who got an 87.60 rating and Dickson Araza Laude of St. Scholastica's College of Health Scienceswith an 87.00 rating.

 

The rest of the examinees who made it to the top 10 lists are the following:

The oath-taking ceremony for the new registered nurses and for previous passers who have not taken their Oath of Professional will take place on March 8 and 9, 2010, with morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m.) sessions at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

The PRC said that attendees are required to come in their white gala uniform, nurse's cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.
