VOLUNTEER WORK is not a professional equivalent in developed countries...You are NOT legally responsible if a volunteer. The relationship between YOU and the HOSPITAL has an inherent 'conflict of interest' if you are a volunteer, hence, it DOES NOT COUNT as proper, professional work experience. You should have studied about proper professional standards and governance and responsibilities in your degree; then you would properly appreciate and understand the nature of 'volunteer' vis a vis professional worker. Also the corrupt practice of some hospitals "charging" for work experience brings into question the professionality of such an employer !!!Good luck - (Richard May)

Yes! How about the second coursers? We are expert in some fields and nursing just need the skills we have studied and undergone. Why does these employers too judgmental about the second coursers? We find it very difficult to get employed even here in our bayan. Hay..... kelan kaya makialam ang gobyerno about this problem. Nurses are serving hospitals through hospitals training programs and they are making lots of money from these registered nurses. Sila na nga ang nagbibigay ng serbisyo, sila pa ang pinagkikitaan ng mga hospitals, and in the end they are not hired because they don't have employment records. Mr. President, we voted you because we believe you can make a difference. Please prioritize the problems of the majority of professionals (the nurses) who have been abused by the hospitals. Create a job for us...please... - (Bee Linda)
