NURSES - BECOME A UK CITIZEN !On the list of UK's SKILL OCCUPATON SHORTAGE LIST are nurses and senior carers. Before a nurse can be considered a registered nurse in the UK, one must first register with UK Nursing and Midwifery Council. Requirements are: must be a registered nurse, a hospital work experience of at least 12 months, an IELTS points of 7 in all bands. Then undergo ONP.A n easier way to go to the UK and eventually become a citizen is to ENROLL AND STUDY in a 2 YEAR CERTIFICATE IN HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE. This is a work related program where work is a component of your study. Hence, students receive a salary of GBP11,600 a year At the end of the 2 year training, one is given a level 3 certificate. As a holder of a level 3 certificate and with an employer who is registered with UK Border and Immigration as sponsor, one can convert the student visa into work permit.
