How to find a vein when starting IVs
Some nurses, whether nursing students or the professional nurses, have difficulty finding the right vein when inserting that IV or drawing blood from. This is because some patients don't have the superficial veins wherein nurses can easily spot on the vein thery have to strike to.
This tutorial video will teach nursing students, new nurses or phlebotomists how to find veins in the antecubital area of the arm.
