The Difference between Analgesia and Anaesthesia

Analgesia means 'lack of pain' because it reduces or decreases pain severity over a certain part of the body. While anaesthesia refers to 'lack of feeling' because the body becomes totally numb. Anaesthesia is usually administered when a person is to undergo surgery.
