Nurses Rule!Still the Most Trusted Professionals for 14 Years
For more than a decade, nurses topped Gallup’s Honesty and Ethics ranking.
Voted as the most honest and ethical professionals in America, nurses won again for the 14th time in 2015.
Nurses have no serious competition in the ranking, getting an 85% honesty and ethics rating. The highest percentage acquired by nurses so far.
Pharmacists gained 68% and ranked second, while medical doctors get the third spot with 67% in the poll.
It was in 1999 when nurses were added to the list of professionals to be evaluated, and lost only in 2001 to firefighters after the 9/11 attack.
Gallup’s poll result were based on telephone interviews conducted last December 2-6, 2015.
